Magic Advent Calendar is available in two versions: Free and Pro.
The Free version includes everything you need to create a simple Advent calendar. Pro unlocks interactive features, advanced customization, and participant management.

1. Upgrading to Pro
Magic Advent Calendar Pro is available as an annual subscription.
To upgrade:

Open Magic Advent Calendar in your WordPress dashboard.

Select the option to upgrade to Pro.

Complete the purchase through Freemius.

Follow the provided instructions to activate your Pro license.
Once your license is active, the additional Pro features become available.
2. License Management
Licensing and subscription management are handled through Freemius.
Depending on your subscription, you can manage license activation, renewals, and billing through the available Freemius account and licensing options.
3. Plugin Updates
Magic Advent Calendar receives updates through the WordPress plugin management interface.
When an update is available, you can install it from Plugins → Installed Plugins.
We recommend keeping the plugin updated to benefit from bug fixes, security improvements, and new features.
4. What Happens When Your Pro License Expires?
If your Pro license expires, Pro-only features become unavailable until your license is renewed.

Free features remain available.

Existing calendar and door content is preserved.

Pro settings and saved content are not automatically deleted.

Pro-only functionality requires an active license.
Renewing your license restores access to the Pro features.
Important: If your calendar uses Pro-only door types, renew your license before it expires to avoid interruptions to your Advent calendar experience.
